Student Beans launches APAC division with new Melbourne office
We have some exciting news to share with you today: As part of the global expansion of Student Beans, this year we’ll be opening our first office in Australia. We’re pleased to announce that our new office in central Melbourne will be open from September 2018.
The Melbourne office will be the HQ of our APAC (Asia Pacific) division, and some of our APAC team will be relocating from London for this exciting new phase of Student Beans’ international growth. This includes Ruth, MD of APAC and Josie, Business Development Manager, who both moved to London from Melbourne prior to joining Student Beans, bringing with them fantastic knowledge and contacts in the Australian market. Tom, our Lead Engineer, APAC, will also join them, enabling us to provide 24-hour support worldwide. The team will be growing so keep an eye on our jobs page for new APAC roles coming online soon.
The countries the team will be focusing on include Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines.
“We’re excited to explore the new challenges and huge opportunities within the APAC region. Exciting conversations are already happening with amazing brands. And personally, I’m looking forward to enjoying the sun and being closer to my family in New Zealand.” - Ruth, MD of APAC
We already have a fully functioning APAC product and are ready to discuss opportunities to partner with Student Beans to reach students in the Asia Pacific region, so don’t hesitate to get in touch. One of the brands we already work with in Australia is Gymshark, who said of our partnership:
“Student Beans have helped support our global ambitions by giving us access to the Australian student market at ease and at scale. The results speak for themselves: we have had nothing less than success in working with Student Beans in Australia and have been able to acquire and scale up our student presence. The Student Beans team are local experts, care about our brand and have worked on a strategy catered to our needs as opposed to a one-size-fits-all approach.”
